Day 1, October 14

On day one the class set up the MicroAquarium. We started by getting water out of the previously collected water samples. We made sure there was at least a small amount of mud at the bottom of the MicroAquarium. We then put a sample of two kinds of plants inside the glass. We observed for a short time the organisms living inside the MicroAquarium. We saw small worm-like amebas, plants, and other small creatures moving briskly through the water.
